The Healthcare Facility Managers Association of Delaware Valley, Inc. (HFMADV) invites you to become a member, like the over 300 healthcare professional in our region, responsible for facility management, safety, security and regulatory compliance. Founded in 1949, the Delaware Valley Association has provided individuals in the healthcare facilities management and engineering field educational and networking opportunities. HFMADV is an affiliated chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), a personal membership group of the American Hospital Association, AHA.
To provide a regional forum for healthcare professionals and offer accessible and affordable quality education, leadership resources and advocacy programs that supports the greater healthcare community.
To be Delaware Valley’s leading Healthcare Facility Management Association for individuals responsible for maintenance, operations, engineering, construction, safety, security, infection prevention and emergency management in hospitals, acute and ambulatory centers, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, and specialty care facilities.
HFMADV provides a number of opportunities for members to network and exchange ideas to keep abreast of operational disciplines and best practices through chapter meetings, annual conferences, seminars, code review committee communications, newsletters and web site.
Chapter members have served as Joint Commission Life Safety Specialist and held national level board positions in the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and are regularly asked to serve on various ASHE advisory committees.

Healthcare Professional – Healthcare Professional membership Is available to individuals in a supervisory capacity actively engaged in the Healthcare field whose duties and/ or responsibilities are for environments of care. Click here for more info on the Healthcare Professional Membership.

The Association holds dinner meetings on the first Tuesday of the month (except for July and August), featuring speakers on health care facility topics of educational value. These meetings also afford the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other members on common health care facility engineering issues.
